Matthew has been commissioned to write a new a cappella piece for Capella Nova in Glasgow inspired by Nobilis Humilis from Ailie Robertson as part of the Sound and Music Composer-Curator scheme. There will be 8 concerts, at various Historic Scotland venues throughout scotland, including Glasgow Cathedral, Iona Abbey and St Magnus Cathedral.

He has also received funding from Creative Scotland to put on two concerts in the Hug and Pint in Glasgow. The first one for brass trio and electronics with Red Note ensemble and the second for clarinet/bass clarinet with Joanna Nicholson as Electric Clarinet These concerts will be happening in March and April - keep an eye on Matthew's website for details.
