Emma Rogers

Emma Rogers is a published flautist and composer with Move Records, Wirripang and Tetractys Publishing. She completed her Bachelor of Music at Monash University in 2015 studying composition under Thomas Reiner and flute performance under Peter Sheridan. Emma wrote her first piece of music at age seven and has been composing regularly since age 10. Her works have been performed at the Australian Flute Festival, Monash University, Ruby’s Lounge, Dandenong Ranges Music Council and Texas Women’s University. The pieces range in genre and style from contemporary classical to contemporary folk. As a flautist Emma performs on both concert, alto and bass flutes. She has completed her Amus and is currently in the process of developing her own performance material, mixing flute and electronics.
