Peter Nagle was born in Birmingham and now lives in London. He studied composition with David Harold Cox and Michael Finnissy. His music has been performed throughout the UK by ensembles and performers including Kensington Symphony Orchestra, the Duke Quartet, Elision, Joseph Spooner and Toby Deller. His recent music explores the possibilities of extended just intonation and drones. He also performs as a cellist, and following recent concerts including some of Harry Partch's settings of Li Po is planning a series of works for vocalising cellist.
