Lorenz Dangel was born in Würzburg, Germany in 1997. He studied piano and double bass, before undergraduate studies in bass and composition in Berlin, and further studies in film scoring in Munich and at the Royal College of Music in London.

Currently living and working in Berlin, Dangel has been nominated for and won several awards. He is represented by First Artists Management.
