Mats O Hansson (b. 1960) has an MFA in composition from the University of Music in Gothenburg, Sweden. He composes mainly chamber music for ensembles and soloists, but also music for stage and film as well as sound and video art. Outside of his native Sweden, his music has also been performed in Denmark, England, Germany, Italy, Greece, Poland, Spain, South Korea, Argentina and the USA. He is a member of the International Society for Contemporary Music, and one of the founders of the Kalv Festival of contemporary music in Sweden
